Setting up Zoom#

OAuth 2.0~5 min setup

Connect Zoom to sync meetings, recordings, phone calls, and SMS to CRM contact timelines. Users authorize via Zoom's standard OAuth flow. Zoom Phone users get an embedded dialer directly inside Coeffection.

Connecting Your Zoom Account

Before you begin

  • A Zoom account (free or paid)
  • Admin or Manager role in Coeffection
  1. 1Go to Admin → Integrations → Zoom.
  2. 2Click Connect.
  3. 3Sign in to Zoom in the OAuth popup and authorize Coeffection.
  4. 4Your Zoom meetings, recordings, and call logs will sync to the CRM immediately.

Zoom Phone — Embedded Dialer

If your Zoom account includes Zoom Phone, Coeffection embeds the Zoom Phone Smart Embed widget directly into the CRM. A floating phone pill appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to open the full dialer — or click any phone number on a contact record to start a call instantly.

The Zoom Phone widget requires a Zoom Phone license assigned to the user. If you have Twilio configured instead of Zoom Phone, the phone pill opens the Twilio dialer automatically — the CRM detects which provider is active and shows the correct widget.

Troubleshooting

Meetings aren't syncing after connecting
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Zoom account from Admin → Integrations → Zoom. Ensure you authorized all requested permissions during the OAuth flow. If the issue persists, contact support.
Zoom Phone dialer isn't appearing
The embedded dialer requires a Zoom Phone license assigned to the user. Verify in the Zoom Admin portal (admin.zoom.us) that the user has a Phone license. If you use Twilio instead of Zoom Phone, the Twilio dialer is shown instead.
Can multiple users in my organization connect?
Yes. Each user connects their own Zoom account via the OAuth flow. Meetings, recordings, and phone data are scoped to each user's Zoom account.
