Fathom Integration

Fathom records, transcribes, and summarizes your meetings automatically. Connect with a personal API key to surface your Fathom calls — recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries — alongside your other meetings in Coeffection.

Prerequisites#

  • Fathom account with the desktop app or browser extension installed.
  • At least one meeting recorded + transcribed by Fathom (the API returns nothing until you have data).
  • Fathom personal API key from Fathom Settings → Integrations.

Connecting Fathom#

  1. Sign up at fathom.video; install the desktop app or browser extension.
  2. Let Fathom join + transcribe at least one meeting so the API has data to return.
  3. In Fathom: Settings → Integrations → generate a personal API key.
  4. On the Coeffection Meetings page, paste your Fathom API key into the Fathom connection card.
  5. Your past Fathom meetings appear in the unified meetings list alongside Zoom and Google Meet.

What you get#

  • Auto-recording — Fathom joins your Zoom, Meet, and Teams meetings automatically and records every call without you having to remember.
  • AI summaries — each meeting gets an AI-generated summary with key takeaways visible on the contact timeline.
  • Searchable transcripts — full meeting transcripts searchable from the Coeffection global search.
  • Highlight clips — share key moments from a Fathom call as a clip pinned to the deal record.
  • Per-user connection — each rep links their own Fathom account; no org-wide setup required.
Fathom and Fireflies cover similar ground (auto-record + transcribe + summarize). You can connect both — meetings from either source show up in the unified meetings list, deduplicated by Zoom/Meet meeting ID.
